Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tools produce a consistent cross-hatching pattern which is ideal to seat piston rings and retain oil for lubrication in combustion chambers. The Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool can be run with hand tools, drill press, or CNC equipment. Apply a lubricant liberally to the TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool such as a honing tool lubricant, 10-30 weight motor oil, or transmission fluid prior to using honing tool brush. Max RPM is 1000, however optimum range is 600 - 800 RPM. Tip: If producing cross-hatching pattern, less is best - maximum of two passes should be done with brush within 20-45 seconds of total run time, averaging between 10-55 strokes.
